MELB NOTE · LIGHT & REST
A beginner-friendly drinks guide
MELB NOTE | Light & Rest is an independent beginner-friendly drinks guide covering coffee, matcha, tea and selected other non-alcoholic drinks. We start with the question in front of you, explain the useful choice first, and keep evidence, limits and deeper detail visible when you need them.
What MELB NOTE covers
- Coffee: beans, brewing, taste, café drinks, caffeine, decaf and equipment.
- Matcha: what matcha is, how it is made, how to prepare it and how it compares with other teas.
- Tea: types, processing, steeping, caffeine and beginner selection.
- Other Drinks: a small held category for selected non-alcoholic guides with a clear reader need and responsible evidence route.
How each guide is made
MELB NOTE guides keep the direct answer near the beginning, followed by an optional 30-second summary, a comparison or method when useful, a practical decision rule, frequently asked questions, Sources and Scope, and a review date. We distinguish broad tendencies, product-specific instructions, personal preference and claims that require stronger evidence.
For health, safety, standards and technical claims, we prefer official or primary sources. AI may assist with research organisation, drafting or repetitive production work, but editorial direction, evidence review and publication decisions remain subject to human review. Generated images are recorded in the relevant content file and are not presented as photographs of real people or named businesses.
Two channels, two reader contexts
- WordPress publishes independent English guides for international search readers.
- Naver Blog publishes original Korean guides shaped for Korean search language and mobile reading.
The channels may share an evidence record, but they are not literal translation mirrors. Examples, pacing, images and internal links are adapted to each reader context.
Start with a question
Choose the Coffee, Tea or Matcha path that matches the question in front of you. Read the short answer, try one small change, and return to the deeper detail only when it helps.
